MCV 1220 is a vertical milling centre of upper gantry type with two separate removable tables or one fixed and one rotary table in a common or divided working space. This highly efficient centre with direct measuring in all axes features very high accuracy when machining and is designed mainly for areas of tool engineering when machining parts of flat or box shape made of steel, grey cast iron, alloys of soft metals and titanium.

MCV 1220 is a vertical milling centre of upper gantry type with two separate removable tables or one fixed and one rotary table in a common or divided working space. This highly efficient centre with direct measuring in all axes features very high accuracy when machining and is designed mainly for areas of tool engineering when machining parts of flat or box shape made of steel, grey cast iron, alloys of soft metals and titanium. Due to high dynamics, rigidity and absorbing features of its construction, this machine enables the use of HSC technology benefits of machining in three up to five axes. The most typical workpieces are big molds for compressing and forming tools production, forging dies or mold for plastic injection, equipment for metal sheet, plastics and rubber forming in molding, plastic automotive and aerospace industries.

The machine functions are controlled by CNC control system (HEIDENHAIN, SIEMENS or FANUC).

The machine in standard execution is equipped with digital drives, direct linear DRO, spindle heat stabilization, external tool cooling system, fully covered work zone, chip conveyor with integrated coolant tank, warning of operation cycle end, rack-type ATC of 40 positions and vibration diagnostics.

The machine can be equipped with remote diagnostics, which helps with communication with customer in diagnosing and restoring most failures of the machine.
