Horizontal Machining Center MCH 1000 – high‑productivity solution for heavy and high‑speed machining

The horizontal machining center MCH 1000 is a high‑productivity CNC machine designed for a wide range of machining technologies, from heavy roughing to precise and high‑speed machining. The machine is intended for demanding industrial applications where high performance, long‑term accuracy and process stability are essential.

The MCH 1000 stands out for its excellent vibration damping and absorption characteristics, high structural rigidity, as well as outstanding dynamic and thermal stability. These features allow the machine to deliver high surface quality and stable machining results even during long‑term operation and under heavy cutting loads.

The machine concept is based on a T‑shaped bed design, which provides optimal distribution of forces generated during machining. The column moves in the X axis across the bed, while the headstock travels vertically in the Y axis along the column guideways. Movement in the Z axis is carried out by a rotary table (B axis) with the workpiece clamped on it. This kinematic arrangement enables efficient access to machined surfaces and supports high positioning accuracy.

In its standard configuration, the machine is equipped with direct measuring systems in the X, Y, Z and B axes, significantly enhancing machining accuracy. The standard equipment also includes electronic compensation of thermal deformation, which minimizes the influence of temperature changes on machine geometry.

The technological equipment includes a coolant and wash‑down unit, external tool cooling, air blow‑off of the tool clamping area and a robust worm‑gear driven rotary table (B axis). Chip evacuation from the working area is ensured by two screw chip conveyors complemented by a central scraper chip conveyor, providing reliable chip removal even during heavy machining operations.

The MCH 1000 is further equipped with a tool magazine with a capacity of 56 tools, an automatic pallet changer and two pallets sized 1000 × 1000 mm, which significantly increase productivity and allow efficient part setup outside the machining cycle. Complete machine enclosure ensures operator safety and stable working conditions.

Optionally, the machine can be equipped with remote diagnostics, enabling fast technical support, effective communication during troubleshooting and resolution of most machine stoppages.
