VS40R-E is a heavy-duty column drilling machine with a drilling capacity of 40 mm, an MT4 spindle taper and manual or power spindle feed. Variable spindle speed from 45 to 2,150 rpm, automatic tapping and three feed rates make the machine suitable for demanding drilling and tapping operations.
VS40R-E Column Drilling Machine
The VS40R-E column drilling machine is designed for demanding drilling and tapping operations in workshops and manufacturing environments. It offers a drilling capacity of 40 mm, a drilling depth of 145 mm and an MT4 spindle taper. The spindle can be operated with either manual or power feed.
A frequency converter provides continuously variable spindle speed adjustment across two mechanical ranges. The low-speed range covers 45 to 900 rpm, while the high-speed range covers 110 to 2,150 rpm. The mechanically selected power feed offers three feed rates of 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2 mm/rev. The machine is powered by a 3.0 kW motor and features automatic tapping.
The machine is equipped with a 460 × 600 mm rectangular worktable, coolant system and work area lighting. The column diameter is 164 mm, the throat depth is 348 mm and the spindle-to-table distance ranges from 70 to 720 mm. The total machine weight is 548 kg.
