Product description
MCV 750 is a vertical milling and drilling machining center designed for highly efficient and precise machining operations. It combines high dynamic performance of the linear axes, a robust cast‑iron structure and the possibility of using high‑productivity cutting tools, which makes it a widely used machine in piece production and small‑ to medium‑batch manufacturing.
The machine was manufactured in Rapid, Sprint and Speed versions, allowing optimization of the configuration according to spindle performance, axis dynamics and typical application – from general mechanical engineering to high‑speed mold machining.
Thanks to its compact footprint and very good access to the working area, the MCV 750 is particularly suitable where efficient use of shop‑floor space is required without compromising machining accuracy.
Design, accuracy and stability
The basis of the MCV 750 machine is a cast‑iron C‑frame, providing:
- high structural rigidity
- stability during heavy machining
- accurate machining of complex‑shaped parts
The moving units – saddle, table and spindle headstock – are mounted on rolling linear guideways, ensuring long‑term stable accuracy, smooth axis movement and high dynamic performance.
High‑speed mold machining and productive cutting operations are enabled by:
- dynamic linear axes
- a powerful spindle
- high rapid traverse rates
Easy access to the working area is ensured by sliding covers, which open one corner of the machining space and significantly facilitate handling of workpieces and tools.
Technological applications
The MCV 750 milling and drilling machining center is primarily intended for:
- precision machining of contoured surfaces
- drilling, boring and reaming
- thread cutting
- milling of larger and geometrically complex components
Thanks to the automatic tool changer, the machine is suitable for operation in automatic cycles. Simultaneous use of cross‑table and spindle head movements increases productivity and shortens machining times.
With the use of special optional equipment, the machine allows:
- machining of parts from four sides
- helical interpolation machining
- use of productive cutting tools with through‑tool coolant supply
Production period
The MCV 750 machining center was manufactured approximately between 2006 and 2018 within the KOVOSVIT MAS product portfolio. During this period, a large number of machines were delivered and many of them are still in regular operation worldwide, which is reflected in continuous demand for service and spare parts.
